I'm not listening to anything at the moment, but the last thing I listened to was Danger Danger 'Cockroach'.
Its a double cd. It was originally shelved after Ted Poley left the band, but has since seen the light of day. One disc has Ted doing the vocals, the other disc has Paul Laine doing the vocals.
Picked it up at the Danger Danger/Robin Black show on Saturday night (hi Lynsey & Magenta). Going again tomorrow when they get to London.
-
Where did you get that cd at Stace?
Btw I have Tigertailz in now BEzerk their finest album
-
At the show!!
Oh, you mean where was the show? A place called Dudley, West Midlands, here in the UK. About half an hour outside of Birmingham.
-
I need to get over there and visit my relative and catch some shows it sounds like haha
-
You get a lot of good shows over there that we'd love to have here. We only get them about once every 10 years, apart from this little revival, lately. Incidentally, I'm loving it this year. I'd say its been the best year for shows here, since 1992.
-
yep, still listening to GLU - 23. it's mesmerizing.
that cockroach cd is real good. i just saw Ted a few weeks ago. he can still sing just as good as back then. unless you didn't like him back then, in that case he still sucks. your pick lol
-
I love Ted's vocals, and now I'm loving Paul's too!
I thought it would be difficult for him to follow Ted, but he kicks ass too.
-
Stace
Have you heard paul laines solo stuff -well worth checking out if ya havent
-
Nope, not seen any of his solo stuff, but I'll keep a lookout. Cheers
-
By the way, have you managed to get to any of the shows, Ian?
Was you at Dudley on Saturday?
-
Unfortunatley not - was else where on that night. got to get my ass down to JB's for some of these gigs real soon. Mind you transports a bit of a prob at the moment.
As for the Paul laine stuff i recommend you start with the cd Stick it in your ear-its my favourite out of the two.
-
-
Tigger.....wtf has Paul Laine's solo stuff got to do with Ki$$???
Don't insult the guy by associating him with them. He's a more than capable replacement for Ted Poley in Danger Danger, and pi$$es all over Paul Stanley's vocals, lol
-
Ohhh $hit, sorry man! you were back on topic, hahahahaha
